How To Get Yourself Ready for Spring Cleaning Forward
Spring is Taking Its Time This Year
Officially it’s Spring. In reality, we’re still getting wind and rain storms, blizzards and temperatures that are way too low.
I’m hoping Mother Nature catches up with the calendar soon and sends us some more moderate weather. Until then, I have time to work on what it is I would like to manifest during this season of change. It’s time for the Spring Cleaning of the Spirit, Mind and Body.
To manifest what I want in my life, I need to be mindful and aware of what I have, what needs to change and what I am grateful for and want to keep.
Have you thought about that?
Our lives are constantly changing. It is a universal truth that nothing stays the same as it just was. Situations change, people change, the weather changes. Nothing goes backward.
That brings us the opportunities to evolve into better versions of ourselves. That is our daily goal, to progress and be better than we were yesterday.
Not to try to outdo anyone else, only ourselves.
It’s not a contest with others. It’s a life challenge for me and for you. It’s a challenge we get to take on every day in new mindful ways, if we take the opportunity to do it. Think of what you can manifest in this time of season change as we await the warm weather to manifest itself.
One nice goal might be to raise your own vibration high enough that you won’t be at all inviting to those who bring negativity to the table. Keep happy, positive and facing forward. Our inner attitude generates the personal vibration to manifest the things in our lives that make us happy and positive and facing forward with hope and joy.
Of course there may be failures and set backs, but that isn’t any reason to give up. It’s natural to find speed bumps along the way, as long as we don’t just throw up our hands, sit down, and quit.
Richard Bach had his book, Johnathan Livingston Seagull, turned down 29 times by different publishers. How very thankful I am that he had enough belief in himself and his work to persist. What an example he is of not quitting, but persevering and generating a blessing for us all with his book.
Think about what brings you joy during this time of seasonal transition. Do you love music? Do you listen to it often? What about dancing, how often to you dance? Reading, walking, swimming.
What has always brought you joy and are you doing enough of it?
Think about a perfect day, filled with all the things you like to do. Now compare it to a regular day. Adjust with your spring cleaning so that you have more happy experiences. Life isn’t just about work and heavy labor. We know we’re here to live a life of service, but that doesn’t mean we aren’t to have any fun.
What about your health?
Are you eating mindfully, drinking plenty of water, moving and getting enough sleep? Taking care of our bodies is something I know very well helps to manifest the life we want to live.
You know all about these things, because you’ve done them for years. Stay focused and make sure you have your own health and energy as a priority.
There’s no way we can help others if we don’t keep ourselves in optimal condition.
We are multidimensional beings so we need to look to the spring cleaning of the spirit and mind also.
Balance between all areas is essential.
We’ve been cooped up inside during a brutal Winter. Now things are beginning to thaw. It’s a wonderful time to get out and get moving. Even if you just walk, you are using your body. You are getting your heart expanding and pumping in a good way.
Spring Cleaning of the Spirit
It is great to surround ourselves with our tribe…with those who bring us joy and with whom we share and grow and expand into all we can possibly be.
Not everyone in our lives is someone who is part of our tribe…some have even been cruel or toxic.
About that heart, are we able to forgive those who have hurt us?
That isn’t for the one who injured us, it’s for us.
To let go of any negative emotions, any regrets or wounds will greatly improve our minds and our emotions. Learn to release people who have done damage to us. Holding on to thoughts and feelings of wrong, will only hurt us, and quite possibly bring more of the same.
Remember thoughts become things. Keep only the really good ones in mind and let the others wither with the intention to ignore. We all deserve to be happy and comfortable and surrounded by those that love us.
When we hold on to anger and unforgiveness, we hold on to those who have hurt us.
Clear out stuff. Stuff in our homes, things we no longer need or want. Stuff in our minds, the wounds and unpleasant memories, they all need to go. Clear them out and allow room for new, happy thoughts and feelings.
If we begin to clear out and live mindfully every day, then by the time the real Spring is upon us, we should be ready. All the colors and fragrances, the chirping birds, crashing waves, everything that fills our hearts will have a place.
Take Time to Be Grateful
Think about your life for a few minutes every day. As you are grateful for all that you have, please know that there is more coming.
More peace, joy, hope, love and energy will be yours when the weather changes and you open your heart.
As I’m writing this, spring is around the corner. And I am impressed that we have the ability to bring spring and freshness and renewal into our day and our lives, each and every day.
What are you doing today to clear your energy to move into the next adventure Spirit has in store for you? Please share.
